We were delighted to hear of Miley Cyrus’ cover of Zombie at the Whisky a Go Go #SOSFEST in LA at the weekend. It’s one of the finest covers of the song that we’ve heard. We think Dolores would be very impressed! Check it out here:

To celebrate the forthcoming release of the special 25th anniversary edition of our second album “No Need To Argue” on November 13th, we are delighted to present a new lyric video for one of our all time favourite songs, “The Daffodil Lament”. The video, which celebrates the beauty and power of Dolores’ poetic lyrics, features never seen before footage from our recording session at The Manor Studios in Oxford during the recording of the album in March 1994, and was taken by us using Stephen Street’s video camera. We have so many fond memories of that special time. We had just returned from a hugely successful tour of North America and were very excited to begin recording our new songs for what would become “No Need To Argue”. We are sure Dolores would love sharing this video and footage with you too.

Unfortunately our record label has had to defer the release of our 25th anniversary edition of “No Need To Argue” until November 13th, due to logistical issues associated with the worldwide covid-19 pandemic. We are so sorry to disappoint, but this is very much out of our control, and we hope you all understand.


 

The 'No Need To Argue' 25th anniversary editions include a remaster of the album, 3 B-sides from the original tapes, a previously unreleased MTV ‘unplugged’ track ‘Yesterday’s Gone’, and a cover of The Carpenters ‘They Long To Be (Close To You)'.
The 2LP and 2CD editions also include a 5,000 sleeve note on the history of the album plus previously unseen photographs from album sessions.
