I just really want to share why this band is so meaningful to me...

I was in middle school in the mid '90's and my mom was a very big Cranberries fan. My music tastes were sadly undeveloped and I had no idea why she like the band so much.

Anyhow, my mom died in 1995 and I almost forgot about her love of the Cranberries until earlier this year when I randomly decided to buy the No Need to Argue album.

I am now in my mid-20's and can relate to the music on so many levels. In a way, I feel as though listening to The Cranberries is a way of knowing my mom. The music links her to me because I know that she felt as strongly about it thirteen years ago as I do now.

I'm not sure if anyone really cares, but this is my "Ode to my Family"
