  My name is Maggie from Detroit, Michigan and I have this big plan that's halfway done... and I do hope you don't find me a creepy person for coming up with this plan but...ready OK...

 

  I'm going to everyone of Dolores's North American Shows...if all goes to plan I start in Montreal and end in Vancouver...all by 2 bus rides 2 airplane trips and the rest being by trains...interesting I don't drive...so it should be one heck of an adventure...why am I telling you this...

 couple o' reasons...first...alright guys...I may need your help...yes YOU!
I've done a good amount of traveling, but there are some cities I've never been to.  I need help finding cheap places to stay...(very cheap lol)  area info ect...

NUMBER ONE REASON...if you're at the concert...I'd love to meet you!  Cran fans are the best Maybe I can get a pic with you and maybe have you scribble something cool in my travel journal..as I always try to meet people in places I travel to.

I would love this to be a fun way to make new Dolores fan friends and see the entire North America...and maybe if dreams come true, give Dolores a hug too.

If you guys are cool with my trip I'll keep you updated with lots of Dolores concert pics, concert reviews and fun stuff of interest on my blog.

Okay well I might be able to help you find somewhere cheap to stay if you go to Philly. My friends and I are going to take a trip to Philly to see her and we need the cheapest possible rates too. If you don't mind staying somewhere outside of the city I'll bet you could find a place from somewhere between $40-80 a night. We don't have all our plans figured out just yet so as we find cheap places I can keep you up-to-date. You can PM me about it or just keep talking about it here. It'd be nice to meet someone there.

This is one the most interesting post in the forum, Maggie!  We definitely want to see pictures from every leg of the trip.  You should also send them to cranberries.com and doloresoriordan.ie: your plan deserves visibility on the official sites, once you complete it, of course (and we're confident you will!).

And Dolores won't be so heartless as not to grant you that hug!

It would be great to meet up with you and to find more hotels for 40 bucks...my hotel in San Francisco and Montreal will cost about 30 bucks...so hopefully i can luck out in Philly too...

 Thanks for the encouragement, it means a lot, really :)  I'll be sure to post lots of pictures and videos...and am open to suggestions on how to stay sane on a 23 hour bus ride too...Oh the things I go through for the my art obsessions...

I would love to meet Dolores, I don't know how she is with the whole meet n' greet thing.  I've meet a lot of indie artists...Dolores would be the biggest one if I do meet her.  If I don't meet her at all, just being able to see her live over and over and over...would be cool enough.  Though maybe after a few shows she may see me a couple of times as I always try to front row and center in the clubs...just hope she is flattered over worried when she sees me at everyone :P

I hadn't considered this point of view...  Instead of granting you a hug, she could alert the police, mistaking you for an obssessive, haunting pursuer.  Which in fact... you are!

 You better be really winking at me with that one...lol though I'm far from creepy I just LOVE traveling and music but, hate buses and I don't like those creepy icky fan  type people either...

I can always leach it off of somewhere can't I but, did ya know some of the trains in the states as well as many in Canada have internet on them...that wouldn't be so bad if I could be online for 18 hours straight...it would feel like home. :P 

Sounds very cool and yes, pictures are a must. My suggestion - see if you can get rooms at student dorms. They're pretty cheap and good quality.

Heck hostels dorms...I'd love to but, in the states and Canada how do i go about that?  I have no clue.  See that's why I need y'alls!

Sorry for my English, Maggie, but what do you mean by "creepy"?  I thought it meant something like "scary", "frightening", but I'm not sure you meant it that way.  And what about "icky"?  Please have mercy on me, a poor stranger...

@ Luca: My dictionnary says, creepy means gruselig, Furcht erregend, which IS scary, frightening.

@Maggie: You're amazing. Unfortunately, I am totally unable to help you ^^. Anyway, I wish you all luck and a wonderful trip (does trip sound negative? I think of drugs when I hear this word...)

Thank you so much Meg!  That is pricey for KOP, indeed.  Well, I found a youth hostel in Philly for $20, I will be careful and not even take my groupie bag off me when I sleep lol.  If it is really as unsafe as Europe, please let me know, but I did grow up on 8 mile, so I'm sure it can't be over my head. 

 By the way, anyone know how to get Montreal tickets and also how should I contact Dolores site?  You think she would like my pictures posted, I don't got a SLR camera, but a real nice new Canon.  Takes kick ass videos too!

Would she really meet me after the show?  If not, at least I got to see her over and over and over...and of course meet you Cran-Fan peeps!
