Dolores will be in Australia on a promo tour in May, taking in two days in Melbourne and one in Sydney.
23 - 24 May Melbourne.
25 May Sydney.
Hopefully we'll get some details as to what she'll be doing. I would have expected an appearance on Rove, but the days don't work out (it's Thursday - Saturday).
Maybe we'll see some instore appearances at Sanity or JB.
If the album does at all well here, maybe if we're lucky we'll see a tour next year (maybe a support slot, or a small theatre tour). I saw The Cranberries on their last Australian tour (at Rod Laver Arena in 1996), and always wished I'd seen them in a smaller venue. I think Dolores could work well at the Palais or the Forum. But I'll settle for any performance.
At least Missy Higgins will be playing Melbourne again soon. Something to look forward to.
