My opinion doesn't change, Meg.  I think the 1996 Dolores was the least attractive ever.  So deadly skinny, she looked like a woman who wasn't comfortable with herself (actually I guess she really wasn't comfortable with herself at the time), and a woman who isn't comfortable with herself is hardly ever attractive.  I see that short hair style as part of that uneasiness, while the subsequent hair styles (not only the current one) show a kind of recovered femininity.

Now that she's 35 she looks prettier and more attractive than 10 or 15 years ago: believe, Meg, all my 35-year old female friends would like to hear such a remark about them!

I didn't mean to establish a close relationship between the skinny look and the short hair cut.  I just meant that I didn't like her look, as a whole, at that time.  Dolores is not Angelina Jolie or Scarlett Johansson, yet she can be amazingly attractive (you're so pretty, the way you are).  But in 1996 she was not, in my very personal opinion.

Anyway, Litsa, please DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR LIKE DOLORES DID IN 1995/1996!!!

Well I hate the anorexia thing too. I'm usually under-weight and it's not a good thing. That said, I meant more or less is that she *can* pull it off and look like a woman which most women (ie. me) can't. Plus the '94 NNTA look suited her fantastically well even if it was a Bowie/Lennox ripoff. And of course the short hair shows the feminist side of Dolores that she won't admit to! lol. And I love it for that too. I know cos I'm 16 and I would love to look like that! This all said I *do* think that the new look is the most attractive.

I've never understood why some women try to look like men to show their feminist side.  If I was a feminist (and if I was a woman, first of all...), I would do the exact opposite: I'd try to look the most feminine I could to affirm my female identity, I wouldn't end up looking like a woman-who-would-like-to-be-a-man.

Lol I'll gladly take the extra weight!....Actually in all honesty I have thought the same in the past. I came to the conclusion that it's because they are saying that they have the right to dress and wear their hair whatever way they like just like men. Btw Luca, men can be feminist too. All the word means is a person who believes in the equal rights of both men and women.

but then, she is pretty with shorter hair, but i agree , it was pretty ugly in the Salvation video!

i also love her when she is a little less thin...

sometimes she is way too thin but then, she 's had problems in the past wit hher weight poor thing.

She's always beatiful! Whatever the hair cut she has. But I have to admit that her courent haircut is extremely beautiful !!!

I like the very short and blond hair cut most. But I was surpised how good she looke yesterday with her long hair. great too

I like the way she looks in Free to Decide and I also like her short,blond hair.

But she definitely looks wonderfull now with the long black hair.

I simply love her new hair style! It's one of the best she's ever had!. Then, probably my favorite would be the Bury The Hatchet Tour era hair style.
