Luca: DavidL: Germany! Horrible stereotypes, I think I don't even need to write them down here... I suppose you say about German, they were hard-working and punctual, or nationalsocialist and racist, or drinkin beer, eatin bratwurst and sauerkraut. Oh yeah, quite a lot, huh?
There's another stereotype you didn't mention, DavidL, but it's not really a stereotype, it's simply true: you always lose against Italy in the World Cup!
This will never happen again!!! I was angry even although I'm not a football fan.

No need to be angry, DavidL (or should I say No Need To Argue?) No matter who won, it was a fair and exciting game played in front of a very sporting crowd, the best game in the World Cup according to any neutral commentator. That's how sport should always be.

Cranation: I lived in Indonesia, East Borneo where country culture still strong. I love to live here it's so peaceful and secure. But, honestly... I really want to move to Europe. but sad I didn't have money that much to go there. Maybe someone here can send me some money so I can go there. I'll be servicing all they needed too...
ummmm WHAT? I really hope this is a language barrier thing cus otherwise you're a....yeah. [awkward]

Luca: Meg:Lol! Uh, lets see one. Well most of the stereotypes used on Pittsburgh are true. They do say "G'eet yet?", they do say "yins", they do freak out and have heartattacks (seriously) if the Steelers lose a playoff game (which sadly to say has happened a lot)..... uh I guess the only thing I can think of is the steel mill thing. Pretty much no one works in a steel mill anymore, even though the tallest building in Pittsburgh is "The Steel Building" and their football team is named "The Steelers". lol.
As you mentioned the Steelers, tell me one thing, Meg. How comes that, whenever I run into some highlights of a Steelers game on an Italian TV (which actually happens quite seldom, as you may imagine -- about once every two years! ), they're always playing under an apocalyptical snowstorm?
HAHAHAHA you know that does seem to be true (about the snowstorms) I'm not really sure why that is. Maybe cos their best games only happen in snow. To be honest I'm surprised they have anything on them over in Italy..... though of course that's all they know how to talk about in Pittsburgh. lol!! It doesn't bother me though cos I like sports.

To be honest, the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't the most popular topic here in Italy... But I'm a sport addicted, and sometimes some TV sport news shows some highlights from the NFL. Actually, I don't like (American) football.

I'm a soccer-maniac, instead. I wrote "(American) football" because in Europe we generally call football what you call soccer, and we call American football what you simply call football. So, as I learned English from a British teacher and not from an American one, I hardly ever use the word "soccer". Maybe one day somebody will explain me why the Americans call football a sport mostly played with the hands...

I'm from Spain (don't know if there's someone else from here!) And I'm not sure what are the stereotypes for us. That we like to party too much? Hum, well, maybe that's true, lol. What's sure is that NOT all Spanish people love "toros". Actually a great part of us hate it and we want this silly tradition to end :p

I live in Moldova but actually I am Russian. You know about these stereotypes - Russians are alcoholics with no idea how to change their life, with strong military power they all are afraid of. They constantly drink vodka, play the balalayka and dance with wild bears. Come to Russia and you'll be surprised!

From Canada... Everyone thinks I put maple syrup on everything I eat, and play hockey 24/7 and I wear a touque on my head all the time... Well It's only the partial truth! Haha I love hockey, maple syrup on my pancakes, or sometimes I'll put it on the cereal so make it sweeter ;) and I wear a touque once in a while when I don't feel like having my afro puffin out....
