What guitar does Dolores use in the concert on the 1994 Live DVD?

A red hollow body one, absolutely superb. I'm extremely curious exactly what guitar it is.

Thank you to anyone who answers.

i know dolores almost always plays on gibson electrics she plays the SG too on her current tour. I've NEVER seen her or actually even noel use a fender... i could be wrong i'mma have to go google hunting and see.

I'm quite certain the guitar in question is an ES335 in Cherry Red.  They are definitely still available, but they're certainly not cheap!  In Australia, for example, this guitar retails for $4700.  See https://www.billyhydemusic.com.au/shop/index.cfm?action=view&id=3100 .

There's a cheaper version available from Epiphone which retails here for about $750.  I almost bought one last year, but ended up going with an Epiphone Sheraton instead, which is just a much better instrument than the Epi 335.

As for the Fenders, Saeed, Noel used to play one very early on (look carefully at the old Live video -- he plays Strat), and Dolores played a Telecaster on Empty on the same video.

I should add that the Sheraton (which is actually the Sheraton II to be precise) is not available in Cherry, unfortunately.  The Vintage Sunburst with gold hardware still looks pretty good though, and it sounds great and plays beautifully -- I've barely touched my Strat since I bought the Epi, except for EBow use.

See http://epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=8&CollectionID=1  and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphone_Sheraton for more info on it.

yes i remember noel with the strat now from that dvd... her and the telecaster i don't remember i'll have to watch that dvd sometime...

i want a strat so bad. Billy Corgan almost always plays on it... ofcourse he has alot of custom strats i'm sure. He also plays on gibsons and for their song United States he plays on a Schecter (live anyways). I have a Squire Bullet. But I wish i can afford a real fender strat even if its all standard because that is expensive too... for me anyways the TT dollar is 6 times the US dollar.

I'd also LOOOOVE to own a gibson ES335 in that same cherry red. It's just tooo sexy... there's also a Troy Van Leuween AES Yamaha (i think that is the model) I'd love to own. Damn why do guitars have to be so expensive?! :(

Oh those rickenbacker are pretty great looking too.
