I have already been to her concert in Cologne (Köln, Germany) on 13.09.07. Now she performs in Mannheim, which is even closer to me! I'm very happy because of this and I hope that I'll get the permission to go there ;)

I will be there of course! I have already been to Zurich (June) to see her after so many years and now I won´t leave it out to see her in Mannheim. I´ve already bought  tickets and I´m looking forward to a great show! 

I haven't bought any tickets yet, because she threatens to sue Zombieguide, as known. I hope there still are tickets...

I don´t give much on that Zombieguide-closure-thing. Maybe Dolores is a bit bitchy (zickig), but she makes good music and brillant concerts. (but I would wish she was a bit more fan-friendly. When I saw her in Zurich getting into her bus she didn´t react on any fan requests, she didn´t give any autographs...) But the concerts are lovely...

 I think you're right. I expected an other behaviour from Dolores that from some arrogant useless celebrities. At least she appeared in Köln, but behind a high fence. However, the concerts truely are great!

Dolores O'Riordan - 16.11.07 - Mannheim - Alte Feuerawache

The concert started at about 21.20. It was started with Linger. Dolores came on stage and still looked pretty ill, pale and thin. In spite, she sang as passionately as ever.

During Zombie, Graham broke a drum stick and it was very funny; everyone on stage was laughing.

Singing Ode to My Family, she came off stage, touched the fans in the first rows (for the first time she touched my hand, although I stood in the 3rd row). Still singing, she came to my sister (who stood in the 1st row), blinked to her and embraced her! It is impossible, how lucky she is! After this extra-long and fan-close performance, the band left the stage and returned some minutes later.

All the time, Italian fans wanted Willow Pattern, and after having played How, Dolores took one girl from the crowd and drew her on stage. Then they started singing Willow Pattern and the girl almost put Dolores in the background: She was shaking and rocking and both were awesome! The girl left again and the last song was played: Dreams.

During and after the concert, the band and the crew threw plectri (I'm not sure if this is right; those little thing for playing the guitar), Dolores' belt, some sticks and the playlist to the fans.

For me, Mannheim was the best concert ever I´ve seen from Dolores. In Zurich she seemed a little shy and serious...I´ve never seen her so happy with her band and I could see that she has so much fun with what she´s doing...(she smiled and laughed so often)

It was just amazing...and willow pattern was fantastic.

For me the coolest thing was that

1) she said she will return next year

2) I got two guitar picks from her (my picks of destiny:-)

3) I finally got an autograph from her (since I was one of the lucky people in the first line:-)

 

Additionally the atmosphere was cool. I think the location was brilliant for such a "private" concert (not much people, smaller room,...)

And I could (finally) convince my girl-friend of her music:-) 

By the way:

If you want Dolores to play willow pattern, just shout it out:-)

That´s what the girl did who finally found herself up on stage. When she shouted "willow pattern", Dolores always smiled and said "maybe later"

This was the best concert of my life!!! Dolores was so wonderful...

And thanks Dolores! I'm the happy one she took on stage! (Thanks for the review, David ;-) ) But there's one thing wrong in it: It wasn't the Italians who screamed "Willow Pattern" all the time. My friends and I startet and the Italians just supported us ;-).

 And the next day in Gent she had Willow Pattern at the official setlist. She talked about the Mannheim-Show and came to me (she still knew my name :-D ). She was soooo nice...
