I like a lot of different music and love to hear new stuff! But some that make my list (besides the Cranberries, of course) are: Coldplay, Riverdance, The Beatles, Josh Groban, Sting, Jewel, Jamie Cullum, Nickel Creek, U2, KT Tunsell, Shinedown, and tons of others. Instrumental music and the occasional movie soundtrack also make my list.

I realized that fans here give their ears to a variety of good music from Pop to Gothic, including many in between. But the most threads were Irish/ British music. I like this.
I have to confess that Irish musicians have a great unique musical sense; U2, Cranberries, Westlife, Sinead O'Connor, Ronan Keating, Bob Geldof, and many more...

    Agreed...

Seeing that more often than not it is restlessness, anxiety, dissatisfaction and agony of the mind that nourish poetry, Ireland would of course be a likely source for throngs of exceptional musical/poetic artists as she has never been on short supply in any of these departments.

    I listen to John Pizzarelli.

His unique voice and clean guitar do wonders with the American song book.

The 7 string Benedetto has a great sound.

Also He loves Nat King Cole as do I. Da Vinci's Eyes is a beautiful song written by his wife.

    Rickie Lee Jones.

I seem to here her influence in many of todays singers. But it could just be my imagination since I am crazy about her.

Switchfoot, Lee Ritenour, Carolbeth True, The Kennedy Brothers, and on and on like most of us. Music is like an enchanted forest. You keep walking and discovering new Wonders(Stevie) around every bend.

I tend to listen to dance/trance, indie, rock, pop, heavy metal, jazz those are the main geners.
I try to keep an open mind when it comes to music, if one can't be open minded with music reality just seems to be unexciting.

When I see you my dreams become reality.
