Yep, you heard it right. Just got a phone call from a friend who was supposed to be at the show tonight. Apparently, Dolores broke her tooth or something crazy like that, and the show did NOT go on. As of this moment, it is not being rescheduled.

The Philly show has not been canceled as of this moment, but they'll know more about that tomorrow, I gather. I am slated to fly out of Boston tomorrow afternoon for the Philly show, so I hope they determine that sooner than later.

Yea. I was there waiting for the show. They didn't tell us until after 8 that the show was cancelled. We  were standing in line for a while.

hi everyone i got in to washington from toronto last night to learn the news. i hope dolores is ok. im kinda disappointed that i was away when she sang in toronto....oh well im in the hotel right now...will be driving to philadelphia today. -sandy

I'm sorry for Dolores' tooth, but fortunately a tooth is never too serious a damage.

What a bad luck for those who were waiting for the show!  Most of them had surely been waiting for who knows how long, and many had probably travelled quite a distance to get to Washington.  I would have been really disappointed if it had happened to me!

I hope she reschedules the DC show in the future. I wish I could go up to philly, but have to work. Already took time off for the DC show, and can't re-schedule at the last minute.

Last time I saw her, was with the Cranberries in 2002 in Wolftrap--5 years ago. Hopefully I won't be waiting another 5 years since I missed the DC show.

It isn't exactly true, nosauten.  Maybe there is no official detailed explanation about what happened, but there's a public (though quite too concise) apology (actually: an "appology", with double P!) on the home page of Dolores' official website, www.doloresoriordan.ie:

Apologies to all fans that came from near and far to see last night's show in Washington D.C.!!
Due to unforeseen medical circumstances, Dolores was unable to perform and was regrettably forced to cancel the show.

(By the way, Dolores' website is really poor.  Before this ap(p)ology, it hadn't been update for a whole month, even though there could be plenty of news, Dolores being in tour right now.)

Just as an update, I spoke with tickets.com and they have no info on rescheduling (sad). They said they will just give a complete refund to everyone who purchased.

I really really hope the show is reschedules in DC.

Went to the 930 show last night fully prepared - beers consumed, swats inhaled, and then BUZZ KILL !!! The show was canceled ! Dolores was on the morning radio station promoting the concert ? No new date just refunds. Sucks Big Time !!!
