Ok I think this is a good chance to start posting (not feeling very creative to create a worthy introduction post on the Say Hello section sorry, lol) I'm Michael and this is my storyWink:

I can't remember how old I was, I just know those bloody neighbors whom I dislike played Zombie (I did not know the song name by then) sometimes (well much more than sometimes reallyBig Smile), it was 1996 I think. Eventually I heard Salvation on the radio (not knowing its title, again); I was too much of a wee child but could recognize that the voice from the song I was listening was the very same from the song that my evil neighbors played so much. I quite liked both songs but was unable to search much about the band that played them. I did not even know its name!

Luck came and embraced me someday, when being in my brother in-law's bedroom I just realised there was an album whose booklet was missing. I asked him what had happened to it, he just explained it had being "accidentaly burnt". What a tragic event! that album was To the Faithful Departed!Indifferent I don't know how on earth my bro in-law could burn its baby-booklet! lol! Anyway, I asked him to play it as we talked and...surprise! the same amazing female voice that I had virtually fell in love with appeared talking about a picture in her head!! I could feel joy in my veins! so I could finally read the band name spinning the album case sideways: The Cranberries.Cool

I asked him more and more about them and even if I was really young (a 6 years olded boy) I became very interested, after a few months it became my very favourite band (that had been U2 so far).

I got my very first Cranberries album one year later as a birthday gift coming from my beloved brother in-law, it was No Need to Argue!Smile What happened after it is history...

I'm assuming you did not dislike the neighbors for playing the song.

I haven't posted in this thread yet cos I'm rather tired of telling my story. It's pretty stupid anyway. But I will say that because of the Cranberries, I actually listen to music. And now I listen to stuff that basically no one knows. Margot and the Nuclear So and So's anyone? Or War Stories? How about Street to Nowhere?

It was about 4 years ago (bigining of 2003.). I saw Stars on the TV. It was something I've never heard before. It was magic. I've never heard voice like that. I was paralized. About month later my sister got CD Stars - Best of. (Than I found out that they had concert few  months ago in my country, in Croatia. I was crushed). From than on I'm in love with Cranberries music. I planed to go to Milan, Italy on Dolores's concert  31.05. but tickets for the concert were sold. I'm still depressed when I think about it. So I'm waiting another concert in Croatia, or somewhere near Croatia.

With Cranberries I strated to listen music that I'm listening now.I've never listen something as long as this music .........

A suburb of San Francisco, California. I think Street to Nowhere's from San Francisco. Or maybe Oakland, which is across the bay.

I was lucky enough to have older brothers and sisters into Cranberries, so i was listening to them ever since i can remember! It's just a thing you seem to do in my fam - get into the Cranberries. So i didn't have a choice about becoming a fan, but thats not a bad thing at all.

I became a Cranberries fan a two three years ago. When I was alone at home I was looking in the cds of one of my sisters. Suddenly I saw Bury the hatchet. And I found the picture really funny. The name Cranberries said me something. But I only knew Zombie. I listened to the cd and from that moment I really loved them. I bought all of their cds. My biggest dream was to see The Cranberries live. But a few weeks laters I discovered that they were split up. And from that day my dream became bigger and bigger. And now, 3 weeks ago I saw Dolores in Brussels. It was amazing. It was my dream. I felt like the happiest girl in the world; really I had never been that happy!! I really hope I'm going to see her another time. But I only can pray!

It was only a half year ago, when I became a Cranberries fan. I was in the ski holidays with my friend and her parents. Until then, I didn't know any song of the Cranberries. But in the car I heared Zombie in the radio and I was completely faszinated. The song didn't go out of my head any more in this holidays. And on the trip back to home, I saw that they have the CD from the Cranberries (no need to argue). And we must hear it all the time and anybody couldn't hear it one second longer, but I found it great! LOL. When we were at home, I borrow the CD from my friend and heared it the whole day. I was never interested in music and this was the first time. Now I have all CDs from the Cranberries - and only from them! (I don't have two CDs, but I will buy them soon). My friend is shocked what she did with me! LOL
There are two things to say:
    First, I love the Cranberries!
Second, please excuse my bad English!

I know The Cranberries and Dolores O'Riordan, the group and the sing that i like more of the others, thanks to the telefilm Charmed, in Italy "Streghe". In the second season you can see the Cranberries at the p3 where they play Just my Imagination. It was the first time i saw them.

I first heard the Cranberries on MTV when I was 8 when their video for Dreams came on. I thought Dolores' voice was so beautiful, I loved that she let her accent come through in her songs. She is such a strong beautiful Irish woman, and as an Irish American she has become a powerful role model for me. She has wonderful personal values and is a fantastic songwriter.

I first heard them on FM radio. It was the song "I Can't Be With You." I thought to myself, my god this band is incredible. I then rushed right out and bought their album No Need To Argue. I remember I liked it so much I bought the First album "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? a couple weeks later. The Cranberries have been my favorite band ever sense.

hmmm.. first time i heard dolores's amazing voice was 2 years ago when i was at my base (im a soldier of the israeli defence force)

it was 2 am and i couldn't sleep.. dunno why...

i went to the war room to check whos guarding it.. i saw there a soldier iv never met before.. he was about to see the movie "lord of war" and he invited me to watch it with him.

in the movie theres a part the song "zombie" is playing on it

i heard this song before but no one knew  who sing it and i was too lazzy to search google :)

i asked him if he know who is singing it and he told me its dolores from the cranberries

he stoped the movie and from no where he bringed a guitar and started play this song ^_^

after that he teached me how to play it and since then i just started to listen to them :)
