    Well...

    ...sex sells. Wink

BUUUUUT I like the "normal" Dolores. I love it that she looks so natural and her clothes. Yes

I'm not sure I've understood what you meant, Ulrike.  Talking about Dolores, we should rather say that voice sells.  Fortunately, Dolores has never played the sex card in order to sell more or foster her popularity.

Little anecdote that doesn't actually have much to do with "sex sells", but it's about Dolores' look:

A couple of weeks ago I was walking with a friend of mine in the centre of Madrid.  We ran into a record store with a big poster of Are You Listening? in the window.  My friend knows who the Cranberries are, but he doesn't know much about them, so, as he read Dolores O'Riordan and Dolores is a typical Spanish name, he said: "What a weird name: is she a Spaniard who wants to look Irish or an Irishwoman who wants to look Spanish?"  I answered: "Hey, she's the former singer of the Cranberries!"  He looked at the poster and said, quite surprised: "I couldn't recognize her: she wasn't that pretty before!"

I think that I know what you mean Droless. Dolores change her image, from rebelious girl with short hair and lether trouers to mature woman, who care about her family and direct a simple life....But in my opinion it's normal, she grow up and need some stabilization...she need this to find a power in her life, some new inspirations and other and all this aspects reflect in her music! For me she's beautifull and true, and this change was forced by herself not from "THEM"Wink But of course it's just my simple opinion you may think different...

The changes that occured into her life and which you are talking about are not the ones I was talking about.
When I look at puictures from the early days of Dolores' carrier, it reminds me of THIS little girl I see every day in the mirror. What about now ? I cannot tell you the same thing... Something has changed, THEY made her change !!!

Do you actually think SHE would let THEM change her in any way if she did not approve of it?  Stop your complaining and instead support her by going to her concert.  You'd be happy to see she actually looks nothing like the "pretty girl" image you so disapprove of.   Regardless,  she is beautiful no matter what look SHE DECIDES to go with.
Oh by the way,  her performance in Boston tonight was by far the best one I have seen yet!

    Amanda -

I agree about the show, amazing!

I'm thinking Dolores has a strong enough mind to make her own decisions when it comes to her "look" - I think she looks great.

I would add: she looks greater than ever before.
