aura:...sex sells.

I'm not sure I've understood what you meant, Ulrike. Talking about Dolores, we should rather say that voice sells. Fortunately, Dolores has never played the sex card in order to sell more or foster her popularity.
Little anecdote that doesn't actually have much to do with "sex sells", but it's about Dolores' look:
A couple of weeks ago I was walking with a friend of mine in the centre of Madrid. We ran into a record store with a big poster of Are You Listening? in the window. My friend knows who the Cranberries are, but he doesn't know much about them, so, as he read Dolores O'Riordan and Dolores is a typical Spanish name, he said: "What a weird name: is she a Spaniard who wants to look Irish or an Irishwoman who wants to look Spanish?" I answered: "Hey, she's the former singer of the Cranberries!" He looked at the poster and said, quite surprised: "I couldn't recognize her: she wasn't that pretty before!"
