I'm from Croatia. See and nature are very clean and beautiful. I live in small town called Šibenik. It's very old stone town. There are fortresses around him.

I'm from Mexico. Here we have many beautiful places to go; people say that Cancún beach and Chichen Itzá are the most amazing paradises here in Mexico. Unfortunately I live far away from them =(...My homeland is Aguascalientes City but we don't have many touristics places to go... so, the thing that I like the most about it, it's the way people are... it is said that Aguascalientes is "the land of good people" and I think it is!

That's pretty much what I like about my homeland.

 I'm from Uruguay, in south America, and people are very warm around this lands.

Anyway, I fel lucky to get to know people from a lot of other places, and get to know how things are in differrent countries.

I've been to Croatia! I like it very much there. Usually I go to Southern Dalmatia, Dubrovnik and around. Pretty ^^

I live in Germany. Somehow I like it here relatively much, although the weather isn't the best for sure. There are many castles, fortresses around here and quite a large forest. I like that Germany has become quite liberal, in contrast to its history.

 

I'm American (duh, can't you feel the egotism when I write?) and I think I like the sports best. Baseball and football. Totally. Yes, not much pride in my homeland.

First of all I'm Norwegian. Proud of...? Well, since I'm jogging a lot in the forrest, I think I must say the norwegian nature. It is amazing running trough the woods an early october morning. :)

I also am from America, and like Meg I enjoy the sports, especially being from the Boston area, I love being a Boston sportsfan at this moment :o) Being from New England I can say that I love the feeling of History that runs through these parts, and also I love the change of seasons that New England brings. I am proud to be an American, I don't stand by everything that the government in this country does, but I do stand by our values and freedoms that we have. This may sound all convoluted, and I apologize as I am sick currently and I'm probably high on medication.... Kelly

Oh my gawd, a Patriots fan... noooooooooooooooo!!! *runs away screaming and crying*. The Patriots are going to win the Super Bowl again. Another one for Boston... *sigh* I mean, I love the Red Sox but goddammit...

And I agree with what you wrote (while high) the American idea is definitely a beautiful thing.

what I like the best? That croatian sea is not far away from here :) lool....

anyway,I like  Slovenian hills (well,I don't know when was the last time when I was hiking or climb on some hill), Soča river (we also have some festivals-Soča riversplash, and Metalcamp), food (njoki z gorgonzolo,persuto and wine...mmm:)),
I also like winter when all is covered in snow and you are alone in some forrest...you can see all kind of animals and enjoying in peace and quiet.I also like that we are not celebrating Christmas with Santa Claus but with Dedek Mraz (grandpa cold) and he is not getting you american stuff and coca cola, but normal presents.( well,parents always prefer to buy normal presents, but now every year I can see that children are more spoiled and they get everything they wanted, including silly expencive toys...).

Can I say it out loud? I think to be in Nato is one most silly thing ever! we are always mixed with slovakia,people don't even know where Si is,why do we need guns and armers? and to be in Eu..we get the same payment, but everything is much more expencive. as a student is a best payment 4e per hour. and if you want to study what you like to,you have to go in other country, be the best AA student or pay a lot of money...
 

I also like Gorenjka's chocholate,singer Vlado Kreslin, Neisha,Pankrti,Big Foot Mama, Iztok Mlakar, Tinkara Kovač, movies like Outsider, Kajmak in Marmelada, Pod njenim oknom, Babica gre na jug... one of best movie makers from here is Branko Đuric Đuro...

anyway, I think slovenia is great if you are a tourist, you see so many interesting stuff, but well, to live  here,is a bit more complicated. First of all,if you don't live in Ljubljana, you have to wait in car traffic for a long time, in Lj are 90% of all jobs and schools, and if you don't get with bike, you won't come far. (well,ok, we also have bus, but non Lj bus are like buses from 30 years ago). in winter is cold ( we had last year -25c) and in summer is to hot (abt  40c).

anyway,I must admit that not a lot persons aren't so lucky as we are...we can go in a few hours to muintains, seaside, great caves, Venice, Austria, Croatia, Hungary or just spending hours with bike near by...anyway,Slovenia is like New zealand, they also filmed some great movies here...

Im from Canada, BC. There are more idiots then good people here... What I like best about canada would probably be the forests and lakes. But as the population climates, its slowly vanishes. Keep on rockin' in the 'free' world =P
